Hohe Saugfähigkeit und relativ geringes Wärmevermögen der Baumwolle und die bauschige, luftdurchlässige Schurwolle sind eine ideale Kombi für Menschen, die es im Sommer (Baumwolle) lieber etwas kühler mögen, in der Übergangszeit schon etwas wärmer (Schurwolle) und im Winter (kombiniert) eine kuschelige, hautfreundliche Decke wollen.
Pflege:
Die Sommerdecke aus Baumwolle ist bei 60° im Schonwaschgang und die Ganzjahresdecke Schafschurwolle im Wollwaschgang waschbar. Dabei ist jedoch auf das Fassungsvermögen der Waschmaschine zu achten: Sie sollte im trockenen Zustand der Decke zu max. 2/3 gefüllt sein.
Ab einer Größe von 155 x 220 cm passt die Ganzjahresdecke in der Regel nicht mehr in eine gängige Haushaltswaschmaschine und sollte daher zur professionellen Reinigung gegeben werden.
